Rountable on Sustainable Development of Chinese Enterprises abroad

UNDP, jointly with the Research Centre of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of China, is organizing a round table with a delegation of Chinese companies on May 23rd to discuss how Chinese ‘going global’ enterprises have made contributions to the economic and social development of countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, especially in improving infrastructure, upgrading industries, creating jobs, transferring technology, and contributing to local communities.

UNDP proposes to leverage the Geneva ecosystem to exchange with these companies on opportunities and challenges to contribute to the SDGs through sustainable and responsible business operations.
